Contributing guidelines
We make things for people. Your contribution is very welcome.
How to report a problem
- Submit a new issue for each problem.
- Describe your problem, sometimes there are different solutions.
- Add a lot of details, the more we know the better we can help.
- Use the latest version. What version do I have?
How to suggest an idea
- Submit a new issue for each idea.
- Explain your idea, how it would make your everyday life easier.
- Propose a specific solution, this makes it easier to understand.
- Vote for good ideas and give them a thumbs-up. What's popular?
How to make an extension
- Start with an example feature, language or theme.
- Imagine what the user wants to do, aim for a simple solution.
- Upload your extension to GitHub, let us know if you need help.
- Publish your extension in the official repository. How does it work?
How to get in touch
- Watch us on GitHub, Gitter, Twitter or send a message.
- Answer questions and discus problems with others, if you enjoy it.
- Tell about websites, blogs, wikis and extensions you made.
- Be notified of new releases in your mailbox. What's new?
